The importance of education right from the cradle is embraced as the bedrock of knowledge acquisition, literacy advancement and the expansion of opportunities for social and national development. Leveraging the numerous advantages of foundational education to Nigeria’s development, Dr. Michael Akintomide Ajilo is deliberately building lasting legacies through strategic investments in the educational sector. His efforts are focused on enhancing aesthetics, improving infrastructure, and creating a safe and conducive environment for quality learning at the grassroots level in Ondo Kingdom.
To put this into practice, the frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency facilitated the construction of a block of two classrooms for the Laoso community in Ondo West Local Government Area. This initiative is aimed at reducing the number of out-of-school children and building a solid educational foundation for children of the agrarian community and its adjoining camps.
In addition, several pupils are beneficiaries of Dr. Ajilo’s scholarship initiative, which supports them through to their university education. The renowned medical doctor regards this commitment as a strategic investment in securing a brighter future for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency, undertaken without any political colouration.
In addition, over 400 students have benefited from Dr. Ajilo’s JAMB scholarship scheme so far over the years. Moreso, through his Education Intervention Initiative, countless of secondary and tertiary school students have received financial support through MADE Foundation. These sustained efforts reflect a consistent commitment to advancing educational opportunities and empowering young people for long-term success.
In all, the Founder of MADE Foundation is a genuine advocate of community development, consistently striving to promote children’s educational advancement as a means of breaking the barriers of poverty, illiteracy and underdevelopment in Ondo Kingdom.
Dr. Ajilo has set the right priorities in the education sector, with particular emphasis on early childhood education. With this strong foundation and clear vision, greater achievements are anticipated in 2027 should he emerge as a Member of the House of Representatives (MHR).
